To replace the battery in the Volkswagen Touareg, loosen the screws that secure the driver's seat: these screws are located at the front and rear of the seat's sliding rails. This will allow you to lift the seat and the carpet underneath it: beneath the carpet, you will find the car battery, which needs to be disconnected from the power cables and released from the securing screws.

This will enable you to remove the device from its housing and replace it with a new one.
