Briefly, let's go through the procedure to reset the service light for the regular maintenance oil change on the Volkswagen Golf. First, get in the vehicle and press and hold the button located on the left side of the instrument cluster; then turn on the ignition by turning the key to position one, waiting for the message on the display to flash before stopping. At this point, repeat the operation until the oil message appears; then use the right button on the instrument cluster to reset the service!
