On the Volkswagen Up, all the fuses are contained within the designated fuse boxes installed in the vehicle: there are two, one located inside the cabin and one in the engine compartment. The first is found in the lower left part of the dashboard relative to the steering column: this contains the fuses responsible for the operation of the air conditioning, courtesy lights, horn, etc. The second box is located on the right side of the engine compartment: it contains the fuses for the alternator, front lights, etc.
