Replacement of Rear ABS Sensor

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003

For your convenience during the process, it will be necessary to remove the wheel. Now, clean the connector that connects to the sensor. Unscrew the bolt that secures the sensor to the brake body. Using a flathead screwdriver, disconnect the plug from the sensor. Apply some anti-rust to the sensor attachment to facilitate extraction. Next, proceed to remove the brake piston body and the disc. This will allow you to work on this side of the sensor as well. Once the sensor is extracted, simply install the new one and retrace the steps in reverse for reassembly.
