Disabling the daytime running lights of the 2011 Volkswagen Golf 6 is a very simple operation, achievable in a few steps and in a few minutes. To disable the daytime running lights, we must: get on board the car, sit in the driver's seat, and pull the high beam lever inward and downward. Keeping the lever in this position, turn on the instrument panel and turn it off as soon as a warning sound is emitted. Release the lever and turn on the instrument panel again to verify that the daytime running lights have been successfully disabled. This operation can also be performed on other Golf models.
