Deactivating the daytime running lights of the 2011 Volkswagen Golf 6 is a very simple operation that can be done in a few steps and minutes. To deactivate the daytime running lights, do the following: get into the vehicle, sit in the driver's seat, and pull the headlight lever inwards and downwards.

While holding the lever in this position, turn on the ignition and turn it off as soon as a warning sound is emitted. Release the lever and turn the ignition back on to check that the daytime running lights have been successfully deactivated.

This operation can also be performed on other Golf models.
