Where is the fuse box of the VW Golf located?

The Volkswagen Golf 5 has two fuse boxes inside. The first fuse box is located inside the cabin, specifically behind the left side dashboard panel. The second fuse box is located inside the front hood, specifically near the battery. Both fuse box covers have a sticker with the amperages and names of the fuses inside the box. To replace a fuse if necessary, you must remove it and replace it with a new one of the same amperage, using the wrong amperage could damage the control unit.
