To replace the headlining on a Volkswagen Golf, use a tool to pry off all the components that secure it in place. Remove the trim from the door pillars and then loosen the screws that hold the handles.

You will also need to remove the sun visors and then the interior light unit. At this point, you can extract the old headlining from the rear of the vehicle, allowing you to insert the new one and check that everything functions correctly.
