Air filter replacement for Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

To keep the engine of the Volkswagen Golf in efficiency, we must, at the scheduled expiration date established by the maintenance plan set by the manufacturer, replace the air filter. We open the hood of the engine compartment, we will find the filter box on the driver's side, we remove the valve tube, using a pliers we release the clamp that locks the access tube and remove it. Using a cross-head screwdriver, we unscrew the eight screws that lock the filter cover and move it aside, remove the old filter and clean the seat. We install the new filter making sure the rubber edge adheres well, put back the cover, insert the valve tube and put back the access tube securing it with its clamp. Finally, tighten the eight screws of the cover.
