Let’s briefly go through the step-by-step instructions that will allow you to remove and replace the serpentine belt on the Volkswagen Touran. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and start by removing the plastic engine cover; then lift the vehicle and remove the front right wheel and the wheel arch liner, as shown in the video.

At this point, loosen the tensioner to remove the serpentine belt, replacing it with the new original one; insert it in the correct direction and then loosen the tensioner, turning the engine by hand to ensure correct fitting.
