Resetting the service light of the 2005 Volkswagen Passat is a very simple operation that can be done independently. First, with the instrument panel off, press the button with the symbol of the wrench, located to the right of the instrument panel, for a few seconds. By doing this, we will access the reset menu. Secondly, press the SETUP button, located to the left of the instrument panel, for a few seconds. After the car emits an audible signal, press the same button to set the next mileage for the service and turn off the instrument panel.
