How do you change the battery of the key remote for your Volkswagen? In this video, see in detail how to do it. Take your remote and press the release button of the metal key. Once the metal key is open, use a screwdriver or a small tool to pry open the key. Once the key is split in two, pry until the key case opens completely. Remove the worn battery and take a new one of the same type. Reassemble the two covers of the remote case by pressing the parts until you hear the locking click. Reconnect the two ends and check the proper functioning.
