Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 6, A6 - Years 2010-2018
Part: Cabin air filter

I will explain how to replace the cabin air filter. Gather Torx keys, cross-head screwdrivers, and of course, the new replacement part. First, remove the screws from the polyester piece located under the glove compartment using the cross-head screwdriver. Then, using Torx keys, remove the screws from the plastic support that holds your part to be changed. Slide off the cover and remove the old filter by pulling it downwards. Next, take the new air filter and gently insert it upwards, then place the cover back to close everything that was previously removed. Now repeat the entire process in reverse, and your job will be complete.
