In this video, see where the oil pressure sensor is located on the Volkswagen Golf and how to proceed if you need to replace it, a very simple task. As shown, the sensor is positioned at the left front area of the engine, to your right when looking at the vehicle from the front.

Before removing it, ensure the engine is completely cold, then extract the oil dipstick and remove the plastic cover. Next, disconnect the connector, unscrew the sensor with a 24mm socket, and install the replacement.
