Where is the battery located in the Volkswagen Touareg?

In this tutorial we can see where the battery is located in the Volkswagen Touareg and how to proceed in case we need to replace it, a very simple operation. As shown, the battery is not located in the classic engine compartment but inside the cabin, specifically under the driver's seat. To access it and subsequently replace it, we first move the seat forward, then lift the carpet and release the indicated clips. We then move the seat back, unscrew the mounting bolts of the brackets and lift the seat itself. At this point we can open the plastic cover, disconnect the terminals and continue with the disassembly of the battery.
