How do you deactivate the immobilizer of the Volvo V50?

In order to deactivate the immobilizer on the Volvo V50, you need to connect a scanner to the OBD port of the vehicle: this port is located on the lower left side of the dashboard, compared to the steering column. Once this scanner is connected, you can select the model of the car and the corresponding version. By doing this, you will be able to deactivate the immobilizer and finally disconnect the scanner; after this operation, you will need to insert the ignition key into the ignition lock to verify that everything is functioning properly.
