How to deactivate the immobiliser on the Volvo V50?

To deactivate the immobiliser on the Volvo V50, you need to connect a scanner to the vehicle's OBD port: this is located in the lower left part of the dashboard, next to the steering column. Once the scanner is connected, you can select the car model in question and its corresponding version. By doing this, you will be able to deactivate the immobiliser, and finally, you can disconnect the scanner; after this operation, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch to check that everything is functioning.
