How to Remove the Centre Console of Volvo S and C Series

Model: Volvo S40 MK 2 - Years 2004-2012

As shown in the video, the first step is to remove the trim using a plastic lever, doing this as gently as possible. Once the sides are removed, you can access the radio connectors and extract it. Then, remove the screws to disconnect the power supply (from the cigarette lighter socket) and continue by removing the gear lever cover and finally the centre console. Be very careful with the electrical connections present. You can further detach the console from the plastic panel by removing all the screws located at the back. The last step is to remove the switch panel, again just unscrew it. To reassemble everything, simply follow the steps in reverse order.
