Dismantling the Dashboard Centre Console

Model: Volvo S40 MK 2 - Years 2004-2012

First, remove the glove compartment located just behind the gear lever, then unscrew the two fixing screws of the console located just below. Using a small flathead screwdriver (or a plastic trim tool), unclip the frame around the display and, pressing from the back, pull out the display itself. Then unscrew the other two fixing screws of the console located behind the display just removed and unclip the central tunnel console by pulling it forward, taking care not to damage it. Proceed in reverse for reassembly.
