Removing the Front Panel of a Volvo S40

Model: Volvo S40 MK 2 - Years 2004-2012

As the video shows, first use a plastic lever to remove the cigarette lighter housing. Remove the two screws securing the front panel, then gently use the plastic lever on the radio to avoid breaking the clips, and detach the trim. Next, still using the plastic lever, work on the radio front panel as seen in the video and pull it out. Disconnect the cables attached to it and check the wiring diagram. At this point, unscrew the two screws in the radio housing, allowing you to remove the trim with the switch panel, taking care with the electrical connection. Remove any additional screws from the console and pull out the radio.
