Replacing Side Marker Light Bulb

Here are a few simple steps to replace the side marker light bulb on your Volvo XC90. At the bottom of the side light assembly, there is a small slot to insert a flathead screwdriver to release the retaining clip. Pull out the light assembly, turn the socket counterclockwise, and remove the burnt-out bulb. Insert a new T10 orange bulb, place the socket back in its position, and turn it clockwise. Reinstall the light assembly. With these simple steps and a small screwdriver, you have avoided a trip to your trusted auto electrician.
