To replace the fuel injectors on a Volvo XC90, open the hood and locate the injector rail above the engine, connected to the intake manifold and the fuel system. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for safety.

Remove any engine covers and other components that obstruct access to the injectors, such as the intake manifold or adjacent wiring. Disconnect the electrical connectors from each injector and remove the fuel lines, taking care to avoid fuel spillage.

Unscrew the bolts or brackets securing the injectors and carefully pull them out. Insert the new injectors into the same positions, secure them with bolts or brackets, reconnect the fuel lines and electrical connectors. Reinstall any removed components, reconnect the battery, and start the engine, checking that it runs smoothly without leaks or errors.
