Replacing Rear Brake Pads on a Volvo S40

Replace the rear brake pads on the disc brakes of the Volvo S40. Remove the wheel and observe the removal of the pads. Lift the car on a column lift to your preferred height. Unscrew the caliper retaining bolt and remove the caliper from the wheel hub. Use a screwdriver to detach the pads from the caliper, then fit the new pads onto the brake caliper. Reattach the brake caliper to the disc. Screw in all the bolts and remount the wheel. Prepare to carry out the same operations on the other calipers present on the vehicle. Replenish the brake fluid and test the operation of the pads with the brake pedal.
