How to Remove the Cabin Filter from a Volvo XC60

Model: Volvo Xc60 MK 1 - Years 2008-2016
Part: Cabin air filter

Start by entering the passenger side of the cabin. In the lower compartment where you normally place your feet, slightly move the carpet. This will allow you to see the cabin filter. Next, disconnect the connector attached to the control unit next to the filter, then disconnect the control unit itself. After that, remove the upper wall of the compartment using a Torx screwdriver, then disconnect the connector attached to it. Once the upper wall is removed, you will be able to take out the cabin air filter by simply releasing the clips that hold it in place and then pulling it out of its housing. After completing this step, you will have successfully removed the cabin filter.
