Operation: How to replace the remote control battery in the Volvo V40

Is the key battery flat and you don't know how to replace it? With this guide I'll show you how to do it; moreover, the procedure is the same for other models of the Volvo brand. Let's get a flat screwdriver and a new battery. Acting on the tab of the remote control, we remove the key and use the screwdriver to separate the two parts that make up the remote control. Now all that remains is to disconnect the battery and insert the new one, taking care to respect the polarity. The battery is of the 3V button type CR 2430; however, let's check the correct type of battery by looking at the car's use and maintenance booklet. Once the replacement has been made, let's reassemble the two shells of the remote control and reposition the emergency key in the slot until you hear the fixing "click".
