How to Reset the Service Light on a Volvo V50?

On the Volvo V50, the procedure to reset the Service light involves pressing and holding the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster: this button must be held down while the ignition is off. Next, insert the key and turn it to switch on the ignition, continuing to hold the corresponding button: a flashing "i" will appear in the centre of the display. After the icon has flashed three times, you can release the button and then switch off the instrument cluster; you can check the reset of the light by turning the ignition on again.
