Replacing the Headlight Bulbs on a Volvo V50
If one of the headlight bulbs on your Volvo V50 burns out, replace it as soon as possible for your safety and to avoid penalties. Open the bonnet and position yourself in front of the headlight containing the bulb to be changed. At the end of the headlight facing the cabin, you will find a lever to pull out; using a plastic lever, work around the edge to remove the headlight from its housing and disconnect the electrical connector. At the back of the headlight, there is a cover that you will open after releasing the retaining springs, behind which you will find the main H7 bulb. On the left side, you will find the position bulb and the indicator, which can be accessed by simply rotating the bulb holder. Once you have made the replacements, reconnect the connector, insert the headlight back into its housing, and secure it with the lever.
