How to Replace the Radiator on an Alfa Romeo 156

This video demonstrates how to remove the cooling radiator from an Alfa Romeo 156. Open the bonnet, and using a suitable socket wrench, remove the plates that secure the radiator at the top. Then, lift the car on a column lift and loosen the clamp on the water hose. Disconnect the various hoses from the cooling system using pliers, and undo the latch that secures the bonnet if it obstructs removal. Once free from screws and hoses, you can extract the fan assembly and then the radiator from the engine bay. Prepare to install the new part in the engine bay: fit the cooling fans, clamps, pins, and various hoses. Reattach the radiator's mounting brackets with the associated plates. Tighten the plastics and front grille securely with a socket wrench. Finally, top up with new coolant and bleed the air from the cooling system.
