How to Replace the Timing Belt on Alfa Romeo Mito

Watch this video to learn how to remove and replace the timing belt on an Alfa Romeo Mito. Lift the car on a column lift (if necessary, remove the front wheel using a screwdriver to take off the right wheel arch liner). Use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Using a socket wrench, undo the tensioner pulley bolt, remove the water pump and all associated parts. Fit the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket wrench. Finally, reattach the rivets along with the wheel arch liner and refit the wheel with the tyre onto the vehicle.
