How do you remove the fuel pump on a 147? Remove the rear seat cushions to access the compartment dedicated to the fuel pump. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap, then remove it from its seat; cover the perimeter with absorbent paper to soak up any fluid leaks. Disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation pipes. Unscrew the plastic nut that secures the pump in the car's tank. Extract the fuel pump from its housing along with the associated parts. Install the new replacement pump with the necessary components for operation.
