Before starting, open the bonnet of your Alfa Romeo 147. Begin by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the hoses to the EGR valve, then disconnect the hoses themselves. Next, unscrew and remove the bolts that secure the EGR valve, then disconnect the relevant electrical connectors. By doing this, you will have freed the EGR valve. Proceed to extract the EGR valve from its housing. Once you have completed this last step, you can finally remove the EGR valve, successfully finishing the disassembly.
