Let's see in this video how to clean the EGR valve on Alfa Romeo 147. We lift the bonnet and put it in safety, then, with a screwdriver, unscrew the locking pins of the soundproofing panel, remove the piece from the engine compartment. We begin to disassemble the locking pins of the EGR valve as in the video. Once the piece has been disassembled from its seat, let's unscrew the screws on it with a screwdriver. We begin to clean the valve with the help of a product suitable for cleaning mechanical parts, we use a brush to facilitate operations. Once the piece has been refurbished, we put the pieces together. Finally we reassemble the EGR valve in the engine compartment, after having cleaned it from any traces of dirt and encrustations.
