In this video, learn how to clean the EGR valve on an Alfa Romeo 147. Lift the bonnet and secure it. Then, using a screwdriver, unscrew the locking pins of the soundproofing panel and remove it from the engine bay. Start by removing the securing pins of the EGR valve as shown in the video. Once the part is removed from its seat, unscrew the screws on it with a screwdriver. Begin cleaning the valve using a suitable product for cleaning mechanical parts, and use a brush to assist with the process. Once the part is restored, reassemble the components. Finally, refit the EGR valve in the engine bay after cleaning it of any dirt and deposits.
