To disable the immobiliser on an Alfa Romeo 147, insert the key into the instrument cluster and turn it to power on the cluster. You will need to obtain an immobiliser unlock code to bypass it until the key is sorted. To enter this code, turn on the instrument cluster: the engine light will start to flash, and you must input the numbers of the code by interrupting the flashing of the light with the accelerator pedal. For example, if the first digit of the code is 2, make the light flash twice and then press the pedal, repeating this process for all four digits.
