How to disassemble the external rearview mirror of the Audi A5

Let's discover the useful information for disassembling and replacing the external rearview mirror of the Audi A5. First, we open the front door of the car and start removing the plastic cover of the handle; we unscrew the screws found underneath with a T25 torx key, as shown in the video. At this point, we lever on the sides to detach and remove the panel, disconnecting the electrical connector and the handle cable; now we unscrew the three screws of the mirror to remove it from the outside, replacing it with the new one. Finally, we install and adjust the mirror, then reassemble the door panel.
