How to replace the ignition lock on an Audi A4

Before starting, we will have to sit in the driver's seat of our Audi A4. Let's start by disassembling and removing the airbag, simply by unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting the relative electrical connector. Next, we will have to remove the steering wheel, unscrewing the relative central fixing nut. Once this is done, we will have to disassemble and remove the steering column cover, then disassemble and remove the light switch control block, unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting the relative electrical connectors. By doing so, we will have discovered the screws that secure the ignition lock, which we will have to unscrew and remove, and then disconnect the relative electrical plugs. At this point, we will have to remove the ignition lock itself, and the disassembly will be completed. To mount the new ignition lock, we will have to follow these instructions in reverse, and we will be done.
