In this video, you will see how to remove and replace the ignition switch on the Audi A4. First, get into the vehicle and start by removing the plastic cover behind the steering wheel, prying it off from the sides; then remove the small cover of the ignition switch and unscrew the fastening screw to take it out, disconnecting the electrical connector located at the back, as illustrated in the video.

At this point, you can replace the ignition switch if necessary; all that’s left is to reassemble everything!
