Deactivating the Airbag for the Child Seat on Audi A1

In this video, we will see how to deactivate the passenger airbag on an Audi A1. In the middle of the dashboard, above the hazard triangle, is the passenger airbag button. If the airbag is active, the display does not indicate anything, as this is the normal state for the vehicle. Naturally, as also indicated on the sun visor, if you want to install a child seat, you must deactivate the passenger airbag, even if temporarily. To do this, open the glove compartment; there you will see the passenger airbag control, with the arrow pointing to "on". If you want to deactivate it, simply use the ignition key to move it to "off". Immediately, the button on the dashboard will light up and remain lit until you reactivate it.
