This video shows how to disable the passenger airbag in the Audi A1 Sportback, a very simple operation. The airbag should be disabled if a child in a child seat, belonging to group 0 or 0+, is present in the passenger seat. The airbag status is controlled by a switch located in the glove compartment, which can be operated with the emergency key extracted from the remote. Simply insert the key and turn it to the desired position. Once disabled, a confirmation message will appear on the instrument cluster display.
