How to reset the "Service" indicator on a BMW X3?

To reset the "Service" light on a BMW X3, turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Use the controls on the steering wheel to navigate through the settings menu of the onboard computer. Look for the "Maintenance" or "Service" option by scrolling through the available items. Once you find it, select it and follow the instructions displayed on the screen to complete the reset. You may need to hold down a button for a few seconds to confirm the operation. After finishing, the "Service" light will turn off, indicating that the system has been properly updated and reset.
