In this video, learn how to remove the fuel pump from a BMW 3 Series. First, disconnect the battery cables. Next, remove the rear seat from the car. You will find various wiring and a metal piece with screws; this is what you need to remove. Unscrew the fastening screws of the metal cap and take it off. Wrap the entire perimeter of the sheet metal with paper or an absorbent cloth. Then, using a screwdriver, unscrew the large bolt around the pump. Disconnect the power terminals and the fluid circulation hoses. Finally, extract the fuel pump. To reassemble, follow these steps in reverse.
