Today’s steps will show you how to remove the rear bench seat and then the backrests of the BMW X5. First, open the rear doors of the vehicle and start pulling the bench seat upward to detach it; then disconnect the seatbelt attachments as shown in the video.

At this point, you can remove the backrests by unscrewing all the screws found at the base of the seat; then remove the backrests from the cabin, protecting them or replacing them.

Apply the reverse procedure for reassembly!
