How do you reset the Service light on the BMW 3 Series?

The Service indicator shown on the instrument panel of the BMW 3 Series can be reset by holding down the button on the left side of the instrument panel while it is turned off: continue to hold it down, it will be possible to insert the ignition key into the ignition lock and turn it to turn on the instrument panel. In this way, you can repeatedly press the button on the right side of the instrument panel to reset the maintenance interval and turn off the Service indicator; after this operation, the instrument panel can be turned off.
