How to reset the service indicator on the BMW X5 and X6

In this video, we can see how to reset the service light of the BMW X5 (but the same procedure is also valid for the X6). We will need to turn on the ignition without starting the engine; we will press the "BC" button on the lever located to the left of the steering wheel and scroll through all the control messages, then we will press the button located at the bottom left of the instrument panel and hold it down. The trip odometer will reset to zero and we continue to hold it down until the service menu is displayed. At that point, we can release it and scroll through the services to find the one we want to reset. We select it and then hold down the button again until the check mark appears. We release it and then press it again until the message "reset successfully completed" is displayed.
