Today we will explain how to replace the battery of the key of the BMW 3 Series model E46. To replace the battery, we need to have a cutter and a flat-head screwdriver; as well as a CR 2032 model battery. Insert the cutter into the corner of the key and draw its outline, then using the screwdriver separate the two parts of the remote control. Remove the battery from the remote control and insert the new one. Close the two parts of the remote control and proceed with the test related to its operation. If it does not work, it may be necessary to continue with the programming of the key.
