How do you reset the Service light on the BMW 1 Series?

Model: BMW Serie 1 E81, E82, MK 1, E87 - Years 2004-2013

In the instrument panel of the BMW 1 Series, it will be possible to make the Service light disappear by turning on the instrument panel and letting all error messages turn off. When you reach the initial screen, you will need to press and hold the button at the bottom left of the instrument panel until the car icon appears on a bridge. At this point, you will need to press and hold the BC button located on the lever to the left of the steering wheel. An icon of a clock will appear, and once it disappears, it will indicate that the Service reset procedure has been done correctly.
