How do you replace the cabin air filter on a BMW 3 Series? Let's see how to remove the filter located in its designated housing: Open and lift the hood. Using a screwdriver, remove the screws from the plastic cover under the windshield. Then, use a lever to remove the filter cover (where the air filter is located). Remove the filter cover cap with a screwdriver and take the filter out of the cabin. Insert a new filter, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls of the panel. Finally, reinstall the filter cover cap and tighten the screws. Close the hood after maintenance.
