Replace the Timing Chain on BMW 3 Series

Remove and replace the timing chain on BMW 3 Series: lift the car on a column lift or jack (if necessary, remove the front wheel using a screwdriver to detach the right wheel splash shield). Once these steps are completed, lift the hood, remove the engine soundproofing panel and the belt cover. Using a wrench, loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the chain out of its seat. With a socket wrench, unscrew the tightening pin of the belt tensioner, and remove the water pump as shown in the video. Finally, test the correct movement of the chain.
