How to Remove the Fuel Pump on a BMW 3 Series

Let's see how to remove the fuel pump on a BMW 3 Series. First, lift the hood and secure it with the prop rod, then remove the engine soundproofing panel, and disconnect the battery terminals. Remove the rear seat cushions (as shown in the video), use a socket wrench to remove the retaining screws above the metal cap (if present), take it out of its seat, and cover the perimeter with absorbent paper to catch any fluid leaks. Disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation hoses. Finally, extract the fuel pump from its seat along with any attached parts.
