How to reset the service indicator in the BMW Series 7?

In this tutorial, we will see how to reset the service indicator in the BMW 7 Series, a very simple and quick operation that should only be performed after completing all scheduled maintenance tasks. First, let's go inside the cabin, then insert the key and turn on the instrument panel. Next, navigate to the screen displaying the odometer, hold down the left button on the dashboard until the maintenance menu appears, and scroll through the various available services until you reach the one you want to reset. At this point, just press and hold the same button once to initiate the reset, and a second time to complete it.

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheels, and then the front bumper and grille. Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system. Position the new intercooler radiator in the grille, temporarily securing it with cable ties, and mark with a marker the part of the metal that needs to be removed to allow the new hoses to pass through. Cut the marked portion of metal and apply a gasket to the edge.
