Let's see how to replace the crankshaft position sensor on a BMW 3 Series: lift the front hood; secure it with the support rod. Locate the crankshaft position sensor and use a socket wrench to unscrew the fastening bolts (if present next to the valve). Disconnect the part from the engine mount. Compare the worn part with the new one: install the part with the respective fastening bolts, connect the crankshaft position sensor. Finally, check the maintenance performed and the correct operation of the vehicle.
