Front Wheel Bearing Replacement

A faulty bearing can also compromise the axle, so replace it immediately. Obtain replacement bearings. Lift the vehicle, secure it, and remove the wheel. Remove the metal cover protecting the retaining bolt on the hub, which will also need to be unscrewed. If you encounter difficulties, use penetrating spray. Remove the entire brake assembly to free the shaft. Use a puller to remove the rotor to access the bearing. Take off the bearing retaining circlip and use a puller to free the bearing by removing it. Clean thoroughly from old grease. Then, position the new bearing inside after properly greasing it. Using the appropriate tool, tap with a hammer to perfectly seat the bearing in its housing. Tighten the nut with a torque wrench, then reassemble all the components previously removed.
